Due to the pandemic we had to cancel our annual “Afternoon Of Spirituals and Hymns.”

We put photos of the previous event in a album to deliver to a few of our elders yesterday. 

We are encouraging them to find a Precious Memory (family photo past or present) and write 100 words or less about it. 

We will share these photos and Precious Memories next year when we get together in person or via social media. 

Miss Jackson was tickled pink when I surprised her with the album. 

She will be 100 years young in December. 

What an honor to have her attend these events. 

We met at Emmanuel United Methodist Church over 30 years ago and stayed in touch.
